Normandy dog friendly beach, France

Premium

Description

Another dog friendly beach* on the Cote de Nacre. This is one of the Normandy beaches and this is where the Canadians established a bridgehead in World War II.  Today, there's a lively atmosphere and visitors come for sand, sea and extremely good seafood. You'll find dogs are welcome generally, and may join you on outside terraces of the restaurants.

*Dog restrictions are in place between April and September on the right hand side of the beach (looking out to sea).
