Pendine beach dog walk and museum, Wales

Description

Pendine is famous for its long, flat sandy beach backed by dunes. The beach was the sceneof many attempts to break land speed records and there's an interesting museum near the car park that's well worth a visit. A very small part of the beach is dog-free in Summer but most of it is open for dogs.

Details

P&D car park Pendine is close to the village of Laugharne, where poet Dylan Thomas lived and his cottage is open to visitors.

Walk

The beach is nearly 7 miles long, so there's loads of space for dogs to have a great time.  The beach just goes on, and on, and on.
