530 acres of attractive woodland, grassland and heathland with a lake in the middle. You might recognise parts of the park - it's just down the road from Pinewood Studios and has been used as a location for parts of the 1960's Carry On ... films, as well as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, and the Chamber of Secrets.

This is a real treat from London. Very easy to get to from M4, M25 or M40 and dog paradise once inside. Huge woodland with a lake with easy paddling access on the far side from the car park. The only place dogs need to be on leads is next to the playground and in the cafe (and that sells cold sausages for dogs). Big car park at Black Park country park (2hrs for £2.90) or looked like lay-bys were free for those in the know on A412.
