Polperro - dog walk, Cornwall

Polperro is a pretty little town with a big carpark at the top. The carpark is 750m walk from the harbour. The walk takes you through the town which is not car friendly, but very dog friendly . Lots of dog friendly shops and pubs. Walk all the way down to the harbour, whichbis beautiful. Then when the tide is out there is a little beach by the harbour that is dog friendly. Polperro is a very pretty dog friendly place that is worth a visit.

Park at the carpark as you get to Polperro, it's very well sign posted. The actually town is not built for cars. So park and walk down, or there is a tram that runs regularly and will take you down to the harbour.

Out of the carpark cross the road and just keep heading straight. There are signs to the harbour, and from the harbour the beach is just to the right of the harbour wall.

Interesting Stroll plus shops

Interesting tourist village with plenty of small shops to interest. Quite a few pubs offering outside drinks and dinning with dog’s welcome signs.

Don’t miss Roly’s Fudge shop. Experience real fudge made with cream and not that American fondant rubbish.

There is a footpath leading upwards out of the harbour on the left but be prepared for a climb. However, the views make the effort worth it. This path is both narrow and steep.
