Porthclais dog-friendly beach, Wales

Description

Narrow bay forming a natural harbour.

Details

Natural harbour on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Ice cream van at the car park in summer. Other facilities in St David's.

The car park is on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path

Walk

The beach here isn't huge, but it is a pleasant place and there's always the Pembrokeshire Coast Path if you want something more rigorous.

In the Spring, you'll be able to see millions of elvers making their way downstream at the start of their migration to the Sargasso Sea. Puts a gentle dog walk into perspective.
