A great beach for dog walking off the A9 on the Black Isle. There's free car parking at both Chanonry Point and Rosemarkie but it can get busy in the summer. no facilities at Chanonry Point apart from car parking and a couple of picnic benches.
Toilets available at Rosemarkie at the side of the beach cafe where there is a path at the side of the beach and also disabled access to the cafe and a children's playground. Tables outside cafe to sit with the dog and just up the road is the Plough Inn which is dog friendly and serves food and real ale.
On one side past the beach cafe you can walk to some caves. On the other side you can walk to Chanonry Point Lighthouse and look for dolphins.
