Description
This is a large, city-style village green. On a warm summer's day expect to see families enjoying their picnics underneath gazebos and tents, and children are well catered for with a brightly painted old-fashioned merry-go-round and bouncy castle.
There's plenty of room for dogs too, as most of the picnickers stay next to their cars!

Pay & Display parking. WC+disabled, café, children's playground and funfair. Dog poo bins throughout. River boat trips available.
Walk
Length of walk: 20-30 minutes

From the car park, head towards the river to join the Thames Path national trail. This is part of a trail that runs alongside the Thames from its source to the sea.
This section of the path is quite short, but certainly enough to revive a travel-weary hound.
