Details
Free parking.
Follow the footpath from the car park in the direction of the church to get a feel of the battlefield, or park by the church itself for a hard surface path.
The church here is apparently built over a mass grave of the battle dead. Spooky stuff, and great fun if you need to combine a dog walk with some Horrible History.
Walk
Useful spot for a short but atmospheric walk. You're likely to have the site to yourself, unless it's a weekend and the Sealed Knot have got there first.
