Gorgeously unkempt commonland, keep an ear out for the dulcet tones of nightingales at dusk. Dogs just love it here.
There are loads of paths to follow as you wander through the woody moorland of Snelsmore Common. The Green route (30 mins) is particularly good for off lead dogs. However, there are other paths to follow too.
The Common is noted for its carpet of bluebells in Spring as well as violets. It's a haven for birds and good for wildlife spotting year round. Check out the interpretation boards to see what you might be able to see.
