Staithes dog-friendly beach and village, North Yorkshire

Tiny sandy beach, tucked away amongst the fishing boats.  The Cleveland Way goes through here, and a very nice coast path it is too. No dog restrictions. The charm is in the village itself, and the association with Captain Cook.

GPS coords for car park: 54. 5561, -0.7932  Several dog-friendly pubs on the harbour front. Kipper sales near the car park.

The coast path starts from the 'other' road out of the village, past St Peter's church and art exhibitions and Cap'n Cook's cottage. Just head upwards.  The beach is a tiny handkerchief size piece of sand by the harbour
