A very quiet satellite of the larger (& more moutain bike full) Thetford Forest nearby. A favourite secret of Suffolk dog walkers - best start exploring on the marked 3 mile walk from the car park at West Stow up a Forestry Commission track from the village just before the Anglo Saxon Village
A small pond just off the path where the 'Cathedral' of pines meets the lower birch trees and heathland - lots of paddling pooches at the weekend and a welcome drink too in summer.
Yellow marked walk from car park is a good start
