Well-planned and accessible park, with trails running past lakes and random pillboxes left from World War 2. Very friendly and chatty local dog-walkers when we were there.
Small car park by the entrance gate. The park is looked after by an incredibly hard-working 'Friends' group. Please be super-careful to pick up dog poo and not leave any litter behind.
Easy access trail suitable for wheelies. One mile walk around the outside of the park, approx one mile. A walk around the lake is a bit shorter, and the field is good for dog games.
