Dog friendly beach that's just great for dogs. Be seal aware and always put dogs on the leads if you spot seals.
P&D Parking. WC and disabled. Cafe by the car park. Post Office and Stores in Winterton.
You can get to the beach from the access road to the car park. We went via the end of the car park on the Norfolk coast path, passing wooden huts on the way. It's a sandy path following the sea line on the dunes. Eventually we turned right to reach the wide sandy beach and this is a perfect place to get the dogs tired and happy on the long sandy beach.

As dog friendly as you can get!
Spacious sands, shallow waves, friendly people, amenities! Perfect for dogs and their owners.
It’s so nice to go somewhere that is so genuinely dog friendly.

We have been on holiday here with our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and they have both thoroughly enjoyed the beach and the walks that can be done through the sand dunes. Most popular is to walk along the beach to Hembsy - stop for ice creams (all of us) and return to Winterton through the Dunes
