Woodland dog walk on the way to Peterborough, Northamptonshire
Description
Good all-round family and dog-friendly woodland, and a useful place for a good quality leg-stretch and picnic if you need a break from the A43. The adventure playground is great, and there are waymarked trails.

GPS coords for car park: 52.5743, -0.5545 All day parking charge. There's a campsite (Caravan Club) here too - it doesn't seem to get much publicity, and seems to be dog heaven!

Visited in November 2013. Good walk with well maintained paths but beware of mountain bikes! Nice cafe where the staff were only too happy to bag up our paninnis and put the coffee in take-away cups so we could get them back to the car, as it was too wet to sit on the picnic seats (no dogs in the cafe).
