Lovely place to take a break, with endless walkies space in the forest and a small town nearby for provisions. If you're staying in the area this is one to come back to for a longer walk.
A chance to enjoy an historic abbey, traditional mill and a cup of tea. And then you can drive up a narrow lane to a car park with access to a glorious woodland dog walk.
Start with the walk in the very remote coppice car park and then pop into the village inn for refreshment on your way back. Dogs will absolutely love the walk here, all off lead and safe.

This is a fabulous stop for keen gardeners and the dog. Definitely worth a long visit to see the gardens and give yourself time to enjoy the experience. The nearby farm shop has quality produce.
What a pretty place. The village is really pretty and the walk is a doggy delight. There is so much to enjoy and the pub offers a really warm welcome to people and dogs.
