If you're travelling East on the A96 near Forres check out this K9 Deli for fantastically organic and aromatic treats. You can also get a cup of coffee from the pop-up cafe.
Easy to find reservoir and moorland dog walk lying in the Pentland Hills just outside Edinburgh. Sheep graze nearby, so not a good off-lead space if Fido's uncontrollable.
Oldest Vets in Alfreton.
When only a nice cup of tea and a cake will do! Dog-friendly tea-rooms in Grayshott for a break from the A3
Dog-friendly pub in the old railway station. Thanks to Driving with Dogs member Rachel Stretch for this recommendation.
Outstandingly pretty pub with a signature thatched roof and a long history of hospitality. The puppy was made very welcome, as were we, and it's well worth a visit.
Starting point is the pub, although it does gripe me it's not dog friendly, however a car park just beneath the pub is the starting point for numerous great walks around the reservoirs.
A small route around some water on the right side of the road, if you cross the road there is a woodland path, the woodland walk is a dead end with a bench at the end.
Nice neighbourhood pub with good food and outdoor seating area. Dogs welcome inside and out.
Very friendly pub that accepts dogs in the bar. Great food and drink
A handy pitstop off the A515 with a small cafe, easy access walking route, and even bike hire with a dog cart option!
