Heathland where dogs can scamper free, and it's part of the totally enormous Hurt Forest. A very quiet and relaxing spot.
This is a total one-off and a fine discovery for us. What you find here is a family forestry business, with a cafe and walks. Wood is all around you in every form, and it smells amazing.
The forest centre is so low-key it's easy to miss it completely. But this is the only car park in the forest that has WCs and touristic information.
Circular walk around the water, with more ups and downs than you might expect. Also popular for bird watching.
Pretty and welcoming dog-friendly pub in the Low Weald, and perfect for a break off the A29.
A village that will be very familiar to fans of Midsomer Murders and Foyle's War. It is a really pretty place and the pub is very friendly and welcomes dogs.
Perfectly placed doggie stop with a country inn right next to a forest walk for travelling pooches. Close to the A3057 south of Romsey.
A good family and dog stop on the Salisbury Road with a circular dog walk over fields and a quiet country lane.
Pleasant little dog-friendly pub in a pretty village for a stop close to the A31.
Top end lunch in the classic car capital, and a lovely river walk with the pooch. More of a day out than a doggiestop, and very good for the spirits it is too.
Warm and dog-friendly country inn, with more-ish food and a dog walk from the door.
