Perfect dog and family-friendly stop off, Cumbria
This is a great stop off if you're passing through Kendal. We turned up with our 2 dogs, baby and pram and were happily accommodated and given a spacious table. Lovely friendly staff.

Wee cafe offering good value breakfast and lunch, yummy scones, cakes and really-really good coffee :)
Canal-side pub with food available most of the day. Popular with families in summer.
A Tap Room is so much more than a bar. We see our Tap Room as an experience where our customers can truly enjoy our craft beers as we intended, fresh from the cask.
The most dog friendly pub we've ever visited. Fantastic food and you will find at least one dog under most tables. Treats and water bowls available.
With comfy sofas and tub chairs the bar is perfect for relaxing after a good legstretch with the dog in the nearby Ashridge Estate or enjoying a quiet pint with the pooch on the way home from work.
Glorious historic pub in the centre of Droitwich. Dog-friendly of course, and tasty pies.
Town centre hotel that is dog friendly and has dog friendly accommodation
A very welcoming family run pub with a fantastic atmosphere and great food. It was absolutely buzzing and even though we were staying the restaurant was fully booked on our first night.
A cooling woodland dog walk with the chance to enjoy either a short walk to break your journey, or a full circular walk before Sunday lunch at the nearby dog-friendly pub.
Great pub with rooms situated at Porlock Weir on the South West Coast Path. Great place to rest weary feet and paws and be made very welcome. Good dinner and breakfast and all made very welcome.
This is a really old place indeed, and was originally a resting place for monks from the nearby Jervaulx Abbey.
