An easy walk across open farmland on a section of the Oxford Way towards a tiny 15th century chapel. In wet weather the fields get muddy and you'll need wellies. On a dry summer's day it's a delight.
One of three Dee Valley surgeries in the area. Small animals and farm animal vets.
Rocky beach on the south west coastal path, and no restrictions on dogs. There aren't any facilities on the beach, and it's a steepish drive on a narrow lane down to it by car.
Great pub food and good location, just in the middle of the shore area. In summer time you can enjoy the sunshine on the river dock area. Dogs welcome indoors before 6pm.

Relaxing sandy beach, and dogs allowed everywhere in the winter and with few restrictions in summer.
About 5 miles north of Dunvegan. Follow a farm track down to the beach (about 25 mins, look out for sheep and cows), which is an amazing white colour that makes the sea look turquoise.
About half way between Scarborough and Whitby. Take refreshments and dog water with you - there are no facilities.
Country park that's great for a dog walk, with no sheep, stiles or steep hills. Pleasant family atmosphere, and ideal for gentle ambling. The ponds are reservoirs for topping up the canals.
