Henry's cafe - dog-friendly, Cheshire
We had an excellent breakfast here and there is a nearby walk along the river Bollin we intend to do later. The staff are friendly, the food was good and best of all, they do dog sausages

A dead straight dog walking avenue, and not a lot else. It's a great place for all dogs, and easy for unsociable dogs to manage as they probably won't get much company.
Lovely place to walk round the lake or just play in the big field. Plenty of room and meet up with friendly folk and friendly dogs.
A gentle stroll along the Southwell Trail, with a chance to spot otters and voles along the way.
Upmarket and dog-friendly establishment with an amazing terrace hanging over the river. The mill wheel still turns - not for grinding corn anymore though.
A large dog-friendly inn between Witney and Bicester. A very easy-to-find place to take a break. Children welcome too.
Rambling 17th century inn where dogs and walkers get a good welcome.
Birkenhead Park is a 221 acre park, the first public park in the world.
Country park with marked trails, and handily placed if you're heading north from the M4.
Traditional and dog-friendly 17th century inn with easy access to forest and lakeside dog walks. Car park has shade.
A Forestry Commission walk that isn't just serried ranks of pine trees! This one is in an arboretum with over 200 different kinds of trees, and masses of rhodedendron too.
This is a lovely dog friendly inn with excellent accommodation. We stayed two nights with our collie and they were very accommodating. Good location for Illam and Tissington Trail.
