A relaxing dog walk to a small waterfall on clear paths. Look out for some gnarly, ancient trees on your way. This is a great sniffari walk for dogs.
This is just one of the car parks and walks in this enormous forest. I like this walk because the path is less popular than the walks from the other car parks, and the view is spectacular.
An interesting spot to walk a desperate dog, in an immaculately kept village with mainly thatched cottages nesteld around the skirts of the Hall. It's a rare glimpse of the England of nostalgia.
One more massive and dog-friendly beach in Northumberland. This is really the county of dogs' delight.
Traditional dog-friendly inn and a woodland walk with doggie swimming.
Once an industrialist's palace, the house has long since decayed and the glorious gardens are open to all to enjoy.
A fully accessible dog walk along the route of a former railway that's now a leisure path. There are a couple of other car parks signed, but this one has the easiest access.
A chance to enjoy a stroll with the dog on the roof of the moors, with expansive views all around and just the sound of swallows and skylarks to keep you company.
Once you've reached the car park on the narrow winding lane, the woodland seems to appear from nowhere. It's a good sized wood and the paths are in very good condition.
Not far from the A1 you'll find quiet and tranquil woodland walking here on forestry paths. It's a real bolthole from the thunder of the "Great North Road".
A friendly dining pub, perfect for a dog-friendly meetup with friends not far from the A1 or the A14 and Huntingdon.
