A very attractive valley with a riverside path winding through trees. There is a no-hills route, and it's a lovely spot for a dog walk on summer days.

Excellent pub, presided over by Buster, with no messing tasty food, good conversation and great atmosphere.
West Sands is fine for dogs all year round. Some restrictions on the beach close to the town.
