The England Coast Path goes through this small harbour town, and most walkers will pass through because of the path. It's an unusual spot and our dogs love walkies here.
An easy and well-signed route up to a Peel Tower, and down again. A dog-friendly pub is nearby for refreshments, and in a most handsome building.
A friendly dog walking spot with a popular cafe and an easy-going path in shady woodland.
A pub with a spectacular view from the terrace, and a beacon too. Locally popular for its food, and a fine dog walk from the door.
A wonderful woodland walkies for dogs, and with lots of different paths to explore.
An enjoyable stroll near to one of the characteristic meres of the area. Lovely for dogs, kids and drivers and with plenty to interest anyone remotely interested in wildflowers and insect life.

A pretty walk along the Llangollen canal and a dog-friendly pub for refreshments. The pub snuggles alongside a lock and proudly announces it dates back to 1978.
We're charmed by this outstandingly good 16th century country inn with an arboretum for a back garden. Worth the detour to enjoy a very special moment.
We love finding a dog-friendly traditional village inn with modern comforts and good food. And this gorgeous village has plenty to offer its visitors.
A former lead-mining village that's now become a heritage centre. Nearly all the buildings are plaqued for the old post-office, dairy, smithy and so on.
