A marvellous village with a castle, two dog-friendly pubs and best of all a fantastically atmospheric dog walk beside the river. Definitely worth a visit for a taste of Suffolk.
You've got choices here, either a pub stop and short walk on the green or a wonderful river walk (dry days only) from a car park just outside the village and the option of driving up to the village...
A short circular dog walk and a relaxed village pub with a popular outdoor space.
An astonishingly old pedigree for the original building here, dating back to William the Conqueror which is quite hard to imagine.
Easy to spot dog-friendly coaching inn on the A350 near Warminster. It's a comfortable and welcoming establishment that's good for a meet up with friends, family as well as a driving break.
Beautiful 16th century dog-friendly pub in the middle of the countryside. There are so many walks to choose from that you will want to go back again and again.
A dog-friendly pub with purpose built accommodation. Handy for Luton airport.
Lovely dog walk on safe bridle paths, and close to the A354. The pub was closed for its own holidays when we stopped by so it's a bit of an unknown.
Lovely place to get some silence and safe walking with the dog. You're unlikely to see many other people, and the linear route is very easy to enjoy and not have any concerns about getting lost.
Riverside country inn with tables next to the water. Totally perfect for kids and dogs to safely splash and cool down!
A great walk for families with dogs and just off the A39. This can be a lifesaver when the traffic is heavy. And if you're staying nearby the longer trails are well worth exploring.
