Village green with playground and dog-friendly refreshments, Norfolk
Rather a nice dog-friendly pub where you can sit on the green and watch the world go by if the weather's fine. Kids have a play area by the pond, within easy reach of the tables.

This must be one of the nicest towns no-one has heard of. And a dog-friendly cafe and many independent shops means that you don't need to leave the dog in the car while you go and explore.
A short walk across boardwalks and close to the water.
A wonderful place to take a break from the A52 with a choice of fab dog walks, super tea rooms, plenty of parking and lots of heritage interest too. Loads of space for kids to let off steam too.
Outstandingly different dog walk by marshes rich with wildlife and history. Definitely worth a special trip to see this and for the coffee and cakes too.
A friendly pub with no delusions of grandeur and a happy and welcoming feel. Dogs are welcomed, as they should be in this valley that is the namesake of the Patterdale Terrier.
Pleasant tree-lined pull-in to visit two medieval moments in history with the dog.
A short stop here after the M5 feels a bit like time travel. And very relaxing it is too.
Wonderful dog-friendly inn where pooch can expect to be wrapped in nose to tail comfort and tasty sausage breakfasts.
A country pub with a big welcome to visiting dogs (and drivers of course) and the outside is very deceptive. Inside is warm, comforting and just what I hoped to find on a very wet day.
Comfortable country inn with a warm welcome for dogs, and some delicious local produce on the menu too.
This is a warm and welcoming dog-friendly country pub with a roomy opened up interior. The pics we took in lockdown don't do it justice at all.
