Country dining in a popular pub right opposite the village church. Parts of the pub look like an old barn (in a good rustic way) and the garden seems to have once been an orchard.
What a pretty place. The village is really pretty and the walk is a doggy delight. There is so much to enjoy and the pub offers a really warm welcome to people and dogs.
Community owned, dog-friendly pub with unbelievable food. Worth driving out of your way for - and an easy-going stile-free walkies too.
A 13th century village that has starred in many a film, and is definitely worth making a short stop for on your journey. Or even as a day trip if you're based nearby.

On the corner of the Longleat Estate, and easily reached from the A350. A hugely dog-friendly upmarket inn with a large garden and delightful food. Very nice for meeting up with friends.
A happy rural pub with camping in summer, and close to the A350.
