Canal towpaths are lovely because there's no chance of getting lost on your walk. And this one starts from a dog-friendly pub that must have seen a good slice of canal action over the years.
The Woodland Trust run Stoke Woods. It's a great little Wood with a number of routes short and longer. Plenty of parking and easy access off the M40/A43. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
A really good family and dogstop less than 2 miles from the M40. Jem got a lovely welcome here, and we all enjoyed the walk.
This handy walk starts from Cherwell Services, although there aren't many clues to find the start point. Easy parking for large motorhomes and caravans.
