Popular dog walking spot between Huddersfield and Dewsbury. A bit of a clamber up to the top, but worth it.
Outside of the dog-friendly pub looks like a postcard, it's old, thatched and really lovely. Inside it's welcoming and friendly.
Circular walk with sculpture park, or walk directly to the bottom for a canal walk
A 4 acre private enclosed dog field just one minute from junction 16 of A1(M), ten mins from A14. High fences. With obstacles, shelter, picnic bench, dog toys, water and poo bags.
Amazing! You'll struggle to find a better place to eat, drink or sleep while in the area. The inn has a hotel attached which is also dog friendly- booking early is required.
Lovely old pub, dog-friendly of course, and within a shout of the coast path. Lots to do and see and plenty of paths to explore if you're staying in the area.
How not to like a place with a dog painted large and permanently on the exterior? Very handy for a stop on the A38. Shame there isn't a dog walk from here to make it a pawfect doggiestop.
