Outside of the dog-friendly pub looks like a postcard, it's old, thatched and really lovely. Inside it's welcoming and friendly.
Amazing! You'll struggle to find a better place to eat, drink or sleep while in the area. The inn has a hotel attached which is also dog friendly- booking early is required.
How not to like a place with a dog painted large and permanently on the exterior? Very handy for a stop on the A38. Shame there isn't a dog walk from here to make it a pawfect doggiestop.
