A car park, cafe, clean WCs and a choice of fabulous walks in a near hidden gem on the river. Excellent fish and chips in the cafe.

A very hospitable seaside town for dogs and their owners, with plenty of walking space on the beach and two dog-friendly pubs with rooms, and cafes as well. Terrific, especially when the sun shines.
You've got choices here, either a pub stop and short walk on the green or a wonderful river walk (dry days only) from a car park just outside the village and the option of driving up to the village...
If you're travelling on the Stena Ferry to Holland from the UK your dog will enjoy a good long coastal walk before you get on the ferry.
Ideal dog-friendly B&B close to the Hadrians Wall route and right in the centre of this part of Roman Britain.
By far the best route we've found over the iconic Malverns, with no stiles and minimal chance of sheep. Dog-friendly refreshments on the way, and of course those amazing views.
Really handy if you and the dog are in need of a tasty snack and walkies on the A30. The inn also has dog-friendly B&B rooms and a Mutts Menu. And the walk is nice.
Broad Chalke is a delightful village in the beautiful Chalke Valley and has been the home of the great and good including Terry Pratchett and Cecil Beaton amongst others.
What an extraordinary place. This is the only pub in the country with a fully-functioning rifle range in the bar. The welcome is warm and the walk is fun so there is lots for everyone to enjoy.
Worth a short diversion from the A65 for some stylish eating and a walk for the dog in the very pretty valley.
Award-winning country dining pub with mouth-wateringly good food. Ideal place to meet up with friends or family for grown-up dining.
Very civilised dog-friendly dining pub within easy reach from the A10. And the village is worth an explore too.
