Historic dog-friendly inn with large garden, Suffolk
The building here is almost ridiculously old, they've been pulling pints for over 600 years or so. Dogs are welcome and it's worth a visit to admire the woodwork alone!

A fine pub dating back to the late 1400s. It's just off the main road and dogs are given a huge amount of fuss by the friendly staff and locals.
A magical place that you'll most likely have to yourself, and the dog. Honestly, if I'd known that Essex was like this we'd have been here for holidays long before now.
A 16th Century grade 2 listed, dog-friendly Cotswold Inn with B&B rooms is the starting point for the country dog walk here.
Top class dog-friendly pub with a huge car park, and a woodland walk for the dog. It's between Stroud and Tetbury and the pub doesn't charge silly Cotswold prices. The pies are marvellous.
Relaxed and friendly family pub within easy reach of the A130/131 and close to Chelmsford.
A traditional Essex pub, deep in the countryside and surrounded by traces of medieval life, and close to the A131 too.
Very welcoming dog-friendly inn, with B&B rooms and tasty food.
A really popular pub on the banks of the River Deben. This is an amazing place if you enjoy watching people playing around in boats. The dog walk is splendid too.
Easy to find dog-friendly pub, with plenty of parking. There's no dog walk of any length here, mainly because of the golf course which seems to take over the village.
A dog-friendly cafe/pub close to an easy stroll over aristocratic parkland makes an attractive spot to stop for a break. You've got the chance here to make all passengers happy.
A light and airy traditional Suffolk pub with a large garden and loads of space. Dogs are welcome, and kids too. On a warm sunny day it would be so tempting to settle in for the afternoon.
