Warm and extremely welcoming dog-friendly pub. We called in on a mid-week lunchtime and found a busy and thriving atmosphere. For a village inn, this one definitely punches above its weight.
A forest walk is perfect for dogs and drivers to cool down in warm weather, or stay reasonably dry in the rain.
A former stage coach inn, dog-friendly and welcoming. It dates from the 16th century and must have seen all sorts of shenanigans in its time. Today this is a fine spot for a driving break.
A small, warm and welcoming local pub with stone flagstones and roaring fires. After a day of walking in horizontal February sleet a visit here was the highlight of the day!
Seafront pub/hotel with lots of space and a nice welcome for dogs on leads.
What country pubs are all about - a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, good food to suit what you feel like eating, and topped off with a great dog walk from the door.

If your hound has misted up after hearing the Beddgelert story down in the village, this will restore his spirits. There's 700 hectares of forest here for every dog to have his day.
What an amazing place this is! A series of enormous lakes devoted to leisure facilities of all kinds, not just water sports.
The dog walk starts from the outskirts of the services perimeter, and is easy to follow. Avoid this one in wet weather if you don't have wellies as the ground is very boggy.
