More of a locals' pub than somewhere to make a country doggiestop - but if you're in Middlewich then the White Bear is dog-friendly and the canal is just a few minutes walk away.
I think this is a 1940s 'motoring inn', and back in the day these were supposed to be the latest thing in travelling comfort. Anyway, today it's a popular and dog-friendly local.
A dog walk near the A54 and accessible for all. It's a disused railway line with a friendly cafe at the start and lots of free parking.
