When we're driving into Wales, this is one of our favourite places to stop. The building itself is a traditional Welsh longhouse, and the view from the garden is fantastic in sunny weather.

This pretty little village on the river Arrow makes a lovely stop with the dog. Dogs can cool down in the river, and there are several walk options from a short stroll to a 7-miler!
