Close to both the A38 and the A370 this is a handy dog-friendly stop and dog walk on the west side of Bristol. Lovely friendly atmosphere, and very welcoming.
Within a few miles of the A38, this dog-friendly pub serves tasty home made food with local beers (Dartmoor Jail Ale anyone?) and a fabulous dog walk starts from the front door. Nuff said.
A dog-friendly riverside pub with big-hearted food and perfect for a driving break and change of scene. The dog walk is really easy to follow along the river bank.
A circular walk around a quiet village is a lovely antidote to a long journey. And a pub where dogs and kids are welcome makes this a great family stop.
Big open space, with views and a mix of sniffing and romping options for dogs. The M5 is close by, but there's no access to this super walk from the motorway.
If you're just totally fed up with driving and need to get fresh air, and a lot of wide towpath for yourself and the dog - this is the dog-stop for you!
Perfect combo of dog-friendly pub with an interesting canalside walk too.
Traditional pub with a good local reputation. Dogs are welcome in the bar (not the restaurant).Well worth phoning ahead to book a table as the bar is quite small.
Perfect place for a dog walk - as long as your pooch isn't bothered by the whine of low-flying aircraft from the nearby Bristol airport.
Country pub with good reviews for the food and service. Dogs on leads are welcome in the bar. Look out for the church tower, it's very impressive.
A real dog-pleaser of a walk, and it's good for families too. There's also a fully accessible route on a former railway.
