Seriously old and dog-friendly pub, with rustic charm and friendly atmosphere. It's in the Vale of Evesham, so you'll find good locally-sourced food.

Croome Park (National Trust) is a great place to walk the dog - with fantastic views over the recently restored Croome Court, and some very elegant landscaping in the grounds.
A footpath located behind the M42 J2 (Hopwood) services. Crosses a few creeks and some small fields and much nicer than wandering around the services car park!
