Interesting park for a dog walk, created from regenerated land - it used to be an explosives factory I think.
Former farmland which is now a good park for dog walks. Lots of lakes, ponds and woods to wander around in wide, flat, open spaces and an excellent network of paths.
A chance to walk along part of the oldest road in Britain or take the pooch for a gentle stroll along the river. A very welcome break from the motorway indeed.
A cheerful and friendly pub, and a linear dog walk over fields and on tracks.
A gentle dog walk over quiet crop fields with the oddly soothing hum of the motorway in the distance. The pub is dog-friendly and has a spacious garden.
Another incredible dog walk around the atmospheric marshes of a nature reserve. There are no marshes like this where I live and the walk here feels like a different country.
A safe space for a dog walk and cup of tea, close to the A13. Good for family days out with the dog too. Don't miss the iron age roundhouse.
Everything here to please the active hound. Easy to follow paths and free parking too.
The western half of this extraordinary 'island' is a country park - and a great spot for dogs to take in some sea breezes. There's a link road to parking on the island.
Shell and sandy beach with no restrictions for dogs.
Slightly eerie dog walk beside a river, and a dog-friendly riverside pub with tasty food and a warm welcome.
