An 8 mile long beach in Pembrey Country Park - bring out those greyhounds!
Large dog-friendly sandy bay, almost deserted out of season.
Large (at low tide) uncrowded beach that's particularly popular with dog owners. No restrictions on canine access. Check the tide tables before you go, and be very careful where you park.
Nothing here, except a car park and the beach. Perfect. The photos here were taken on a baking hot Tuesday in summer and still the beach was completely deserted - wow!!
Dogs allowed on the beach here all year round. The beach is pebbly, and when the sun shines the water really sparkles.
Sandy dog-friendly beach at the end of the Llyn peninsula. Some restrictions on dogs in the summer, leaving plenty of space away from the beach areas nearest to the car park.
There are three beaches at Abersoch and the town beach (by the harbour) has dog restrictions in summer, so avoid this with your dog.
The sandy beach ar Llanbedrog is very popular during the summer months. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round, but in summer they need to be on leads as the beach gets busy.
Long sandy beach and dog friendly, with some restrictions in high season. Shops and cafes in the town. Also inland walks over the hills.
Dogs are allowed on one side of the beach all through the year. And the coast path adds interest too.
Dogs permitted on the beach - and it's a great place to take a breather if you're walking the Pembroke Way!
