A quirky little cafe on the river bank in the heart of the town. Small characterful rooms serving excellent food. The menu was fairly simple but the food is delicious.

Towneley Hall and park are one of Burnley's greatest assets. The Hall, which is open to the public, sits in extensive parkland with woods, riverbanks, a playground and playing fields.
Lovely Lakeland pub with dog friendly accommodation. Rooms very clean and dogs welcome in bar. Food - hearty and excellent. Walks to the fells or to Keswick from the inn.
