You can't beat a coaching inn at a cross-roads, and this one provides a warm welcome, good food choices and is dog-friendly. Update - when we visited in May 2022 a new team was expected to take over the pub shortly. So your updates on this are welcomed!
Details
Large car park. At the same crossroads there's a small fuel station with shop, and also a large lay-by with picnic tables and snack van. No dog walk from here, but Bickerton Hill is a 5-min drive away and has its own car parks but no facilities. GPS code for Bickerton Hill car park: 53.0723, -2.7429.
