Well-placed pub that's ideal for recovering from a paw-stretcher of a dog walk on the Pennine Way. While you're there, check out the history of the building - there are some seriously spooky stories.

Open 7 days. Lunch served daily from 12 noon. For seasonal opening hours and food service times please check their website.
Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome in the bar - as long as they aren't too wet and muddy. Given that the Pennine Way footpath is nearby, that's a very reasonable request!
