Walk
There are several walks round the site, all are well marked and a leaflet with the waymarked trails is given on entry, and can also ben downloaded from the website. The new Tramway Trail is hard surfaced and totally wheelchair accessible. Both on and off lead walks.

Great for dogs
We visited on a very hot day but there was lots of shade under trees. Unlike most National Trust places, there are even areas where dogs can be off the lead in the wider estate. Lots for kids, too.
