About Caroline7758
Molly is a rescue border collie, nearly 8 years old. She loves coming with us in our motorhome.
We retired to Northumberland after 30 years in North Yorkshire but now that we have 2 grand children in the Southeast, we spend a lot of time on motorways so were very pleased to find this site.

M25 Junction 24 dog walk at Trent country park, Hertfordshire
Great park but can get busy.
This looked like a great park for families and dogs. Loads of space to run around, cafe, toilets etc. However we arrived in our motorhome on a hot Sunday afternoon and could not find a parking space because it was so busy. We'd definitely try it again midweek or out of season.

Height barrier!
Great park, but we nearly got stuck in the car park because the height barrier was open when we went in at al11.00 a.m. but closed when we left half an hour later. Luckily the council workers who had opened it for their truck were still around to let us out. Probably other places to park a campervan, but beware!

Great for dogs
We visited on a very hot day but there was lots of shade under trees. Unlike most National Trust places, there are even areas where dogs can be off the lead in the wider estate. Lots for kids, too.
