This is an orderly and well maintained country park, with hard surface paths creating accessibility routes – and all weather dog walking in clean footwear a definite possibility. That said, there is plenty of space to go off-path and enjoy the shade of the ancient spreading trees in this generously sized former hunting forest.

Great park but can get busy.
This looked like a great park for families and dogs. Loads of space to run around, cafe, toilets etc. However we arrived in our motorhome on a hot Sunday afternoon and could not find a parking space because it was so busy. We'd definitely try it again midweek or out of season.
