Jervaulx Abbey dog walk, North Yorkshire
In an area a bit crowded with ruined abbeys, this one is wilder and far less curated than its more famous neighbours. You'll find seats in picturesque nooks, and a very tranquil atmosphere.

Excellent motorway services, accessible from both sides of the road via a linking tunnel.
The Laughing Fish is in the heart of the finest East Sussex countryside and many of those enjoying it find their way to our door.
This is a quiet and tranquil part of the forest and is designated as a nature reserve. Dogs are welcome but should not be chasing wildlife, especially the red squirrels.
Beautiful walk along the River Severn with the steam railway in the background.
Excellent although pebble beach, goes on for miles, dogs are more than welcome all year, my 2 loved it for their first seaside experience.
Really old park, stuffed full of heritage - Anglo-saxon burial mounds, the Meridian Line ... and a great place to walk the dog.
Very dog friendly pub, gave my labrador treats and a dog bowl with water, service was great, lots of outside seating next to a duck pond and river.
Busy dog-friendly restaurant just outside Northampton. If your priority is a meal rather than a dog walk, this dog-friendly inn is a good option.
A striking, long, white, shell-strewn beach. Dogs allowed.
Bow-wow is a Home from Home for your pet. No cages/kennels. A unique personal service to meet every dogs/owners needs.
Lovely spot for a picnic beside a historic windmill, and a fine view over the valley too.
