Beautiful beach and sand dunes that lead nicely to a very large woodland. The beach is several miles long and is undulating with white sand.
English speaking vet cinic recommended by Driving with Dogs member. Many vet surgeries in France have at least one person who can speak some English.
Welcoming and dog-friendly pitstop near the A47. They specialise in grills, and also have the village shop inside the pub.
Dog-friendly inn close to the Welsh border, and easy to spot on the A456. A reliable doggiestop for business meeting, families and with good disabled facilities.
Walk around the lake with the option of of a woodland walk as well. From the lake cross over the D748 and you will be in the Le Bois de l'Aumonerie.
Very dog friendly pub. A good place for a drink after a walk on the beach, but no food served.
The pub used to be called The Navigation Inn, it sits right beside the Erewash trail. The pub has a massive outdoor area so you can sit away from people but dogs are also allowed in the pub as well.
Just off the main A82 north of Fort William is a huge area with well marked walks and lovely views. Great for dogs who are fed up of being in the car
