Roadford Lake dog walk, Devon
A peaceful reservoir, with clean and tidy facilities and a fully accessible path along the waterside. It's a handy place to know about if you're on the A30 and the traffic builds up after Okehampton.

Set in beautiful countryside, this is a great place for a dog walk. The country park has many water features including two lakes and the River Medway as well.
No restrictions for dogs on this big, long beach.
A village inn, with a big welcome. Friendly atmosphere, log fires, BBQ in summer, a big field for kids/dogs to charge around on.
A glorious dog walk along the river when the sun is shining, and any non-walkers will find lots to see in the town.
Great National Trust park with miles of walking. Lack of dog poo bins is a slight downside. Variety of areas: Lake side (water front); park; hills. Nice view of the castle.
Handy for the M40 Junction 5 and 6. An unusual part of the county as the woodland here is owned either by the Forestry Commission or the National Trust. Excellent news for dog-walkers.
This could be the perfect pub for ticking all the right boxes for drivers, dogs and passengers too.
This country park is a wonderful place to walk around. It's a hilly place, but delightful to stroll through the trees, meadows and down to the River Blyth in the valley bottom.
An ideal spot to stretch your legs and exercise the pooch before or after a channel crossing.
This is a lovely beach for dogs.
