The pub is the highlight here. It is a fine thatched Berkshire hostelry and really popular. It is not really near a good walk unless you are prepared to do a fair amount of road walking to get there.

A popular spa resort, this small town is surprisingly good for dogs. The beach at the casino end of the town is far from crowded and we saw several dogs taking to the water here.
Dogs will love the sniffing opportunities here - there seems to be plenty of interesting stuff for them - and it's great dog walking with no stiles or sheep to worry about.
