Popular dog walking park, and near the A12 if you want to give Fido a quick break before heading into London. There's a lot of sporty stuff going on here, but still space for a good dog walk.
Starts at Chorlton Water Park, along the River Mersey up to Trafford Water Park. Approx 4km each way.
Village pub that serves good food and is very close to the River Severn, with lovely walk down to the river. Dogs allowed in the bar and garden. Very friendly
No dog restrictions on Laxey Beach. The water wheel is a local curiosity and worth a visit.
The park has been created out of the grounds of the derelict Elmdon Hall, and there are views over the Midlands from the high ground.

Lovely walk along the River Isere on the 15km cycle path between Bourg Saint Maurice and Aime in the Tarentaise valley. In summer, stop off at one of the riverside cafes along the way.
