Large dog-friendly beach and walk near Harlech, Wales
Another fantastically huge sandy and dog-friendly beach, accessed on a walkway through protected dunes. The beach is divided roughly in half, with dogs allowed on one side all year round.

How not to like a place with a dog painted large and permanently on the exterior? Very handy for a stop on the A38. Shame there isn't a dog walk from here to make it a pawfect doggiestop.
A pub with centuries of history and plenty of space for campers too. Dog-friendly and close to many great dog walks.
Decent pub, less than 5 minutes walk from the M1 junction 22. The manager loves dogs, and keeps water, treats and blankets on the bar. The food's not bad - nothing fancy, standard pub grub.
Apley Castle, beautiful walk, my dogs love it there
Lovely pub with proper home cooked food. Very dog friendly. Excellent play area outside for the kids.

Warm and inviting dog-friendly hotel in the popular village of Dunster. The castle grounds and longer walks up on the hills behind the village are perfect for dogs.
Lovely circular walk above Fishguard Bay
Lovely old pub, dog-friendly of course, and within a shout of the coast path. Lots to do and see and plenty of paths to explore if you're staying in the area.
Lovely family run pub and shop . Welcome dogs and lots of "meat " treats given to your pooch whilst you're eating Sunday dinner .
Family run dining pub in Bushey Village serving a wide range of teas, coffee and cake in the morning, freshly cooked lunch and dinners served 7 days a week. Selection of Craft Ale, Lager and Ciders.
